Mastering the Art of Caricature for over 25 years!!! Jody keeps very busy
drawing the masses. Jody and Deby have 4 awesome children who also are
very talented in art. Jody got his start in caricatures with a summer job at Astro
World to help work his way through art school. Jody graduated from the Art
Institute of Houston in 1985 with a Degree in Commercial Art. In 1987 he joined
the Army Reserves and served as an Illustrator (81E) believe it or not! Jody was
able to use his talents by drawing funny pictures of the Lieutenant! Since then,
he has worked at the Citizen Newspaper in the late 80's and at the Green Sheet
as an illustrator in the early 90's, all the while drawing caricatures part-time. But
then, Jody's dream of drawing caricatures as a career materialized in 1993. With
the help of veteran caricature artist Dan Dunn, Jody became established as one
of Houston's top event caricaturist.
